Refund & Cancellation Policy

CVCrisp sells a single, one-time digital product: the unlocked, watermark-free download of the resume you have already built and previewed on our site. This policy explains when a refund is and is not available.

You see the product before you pay. The complete document is rendered on screen, with a watermark, before any payment is requested. Editing, template switching and the ATS score are entirely free. The payment removes the watermark and enables the download — nothing else changes.

Because of this, please review your document carefully before paying.

Cancellation

CVCrisp is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring billing and no auto-renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. You will never be charged again unless you choose to make another purchase.

When we WILL refund you

Full refund, no questions asked

We will refund the full amount in any of these situations:

Money was deducted but your download did not unlock.
You were charged more than once for the same purchase (duplicate payment).
A technical fault on our side prevented you from downloading your PDF or DOCX, and we were unable to resolve it for you.
You were charged but never authorised the payment.

When we will NOT refund you

No refund after successful delivery

Once your file has downloaded successfully, the product has been delivered in full and the purchase is final and non-refundable. Digital files cannot be returned.

We also cannot refund for:

changing your mind after downloading;
not liking a template or design, when the same design was visible free of charge in the preview;
not receiving interviews or a job offer — see our Terms & Conditions, section 8;
an ATS score being lower than you hoped, since the score is an automated estimate and is visible for free before payment;
mistakes in content that you entered or approved yourself;
losing access because you cleared your browser data — contact us instead and we will restore your licence at no charge.

How to request a refund

Email CvcrispBusiness@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request", including:

your payment reference ID (shown on screen after payment, and in your Razorpay confirmation email or SMS);
the email address or phone number used at checkout;
a brief description of what went wrong.

Requests should be made within 7 days of the transaction.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.

Effect of a refund

Where a full refund is issued, the purchase licence associated with that payment is revoked and access to watermark-free downloads ends. Any file already downloaded should no longer be used.

Partial refunds

In exceptional cases we may offer a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. Where we do, your access to the product is not revoked.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, no amount should be deducted. Occasionally a bank places a temporary hold that looks like a charge; this is normally released automatically within 5–7 working days without any action from us. If it has not reversed after 7 working days, contact us with your payment reference and we will investigate.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
