Photo and Signature Resizer in KB for Online Forms

Exam and job portals reject a photo that is 2 KB too big or a signature in the wrong shape. Copy the size rules from your notice, and this tool makes a file that fits them: the KB range, the width and height, JPG format, and your name and date below the photo if the form asks for it.

Copy these from your notice. The tool counts 1 KB as 1,024 bytes, the way upload portals measure files.

How to use it in four steps

  1. Open your notice and find the photo and signature rules. They are usually under How to Apply or Instructions, and give a KB range, a size in pixels or centimetres, and the format.
  2. Choose Photo or Signature, then your image. A clear phone photo against a plain light wall works; for a signature, sign on white paper and photograph it from straight above.
  3. Type the KB range and size, or tap a chip. Zoom and move the image until it sits right in the box.
  4. Press Make file, check the three green ticks (KB range, size, JPG), then download and upload it to the form.

What forms usually ask for

Every notice sets its own rules, and they change between years even for the same exam, so treat this as a checklist of what to look for, not as the rule for your exam.

RuleWhat to look for in the notice
File sizeA range such as 10 to 20 KB or 20 to 50 KB. Too small is rejected just like too big.
DimensionsIn pixels (for example 200 × 230) or centimetres (for example 3.5 × 4.5 cm). The tool converts cm to pixels at the DPI you set.
FormatAlmost always JPG or JPEG. The tool always saves JPG.
Photo detailsSome notices ask for a light background, a recent photo, or your name and the date printed below it.
SignatureUsually dark ink on white paper, cropped close, in a wide box such as 6 × 2 cm.

Common questions

How do I resize a photo to 20 KB to 50 KB?

Choose your photo, tap the 20 to 50 KB chip (or type the minimum and maximum from your notice), enter the width and height the form asks for, and press Make file. The tool lowers or raises the JPEG quality until the file lands inside the range, then shows the final size before you download.

How do I increase a photo's size from 10 KB to 50 KB?

Set the minimum to the size the form needs. The tool first raises the image quality. If the picture is so plain that even full quality stays below the minimum, it adds blank metadata inside the file until it reaches the minimum. The picture itself does not change.

How do I convert centimetres to pixels for a form photo?

Pixels = centimetres ÷ 2.54 × DPI. At 200 DPI, 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm is 276 × 354 pixels. Pick cm in the size box and the tool does the sum for you; change the DPI only if your notice gives one.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The photo is read, resized and saved by your own browser. Nothing is sent to CVCrisp or anyone else, and closing the page clears it.

Why does the portal still reject my photo?

Usually because the file is outside the KB range, the format is not JPG or JPEG, or the dimensions differ from the notice. Check the three numbers on the result card against your notice. Some portals also ask for a light background, the date of the photograph or your name below the photo.

Which size does my exam need?

Each notice prints it, usually in the How to Apply or Instructions section: the KB range, the dimensions in pixels or centimetres and the format. Sizes change between notices, even for the same exam, so copy them from the notice you are applying under.
