ITI Hall Ticket 2026: Conditions and What to Check
The ITI hall ticket (admit card) for the All India Trade Test is generated on the Skill India Digital Hub only after your ITI enters your details and you meet three conditions. Here is how it works for the July 2026 exam, from DGT's own guidelines.

DGT's guidelines for the All India Trade Test of July 2026 list them as: attendance of at least 80%, formative assessment marks of at least 60%, and CBT and practical exam fees paid. A principal can relax the attendance rule under an MSDE order of 5 July 2017; the other two have no such relaxation in the guidelines.
| Condition | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Attendance | At least 80% |
| Formative assessment marks | At least 60% |
| CBT and practical exam fees | Paid |
Who enters the details
Your ITI's principal enters attendance, formative assessment marks and fees for every regular trainee on the Skill India Digital Hub (dgt.skillindiadigital.gov.in). For 2026 the window was 20 May to 18 June. The portal does not accept partial entries, so one missing trainee can hold up the batch.
CBT and practical hall tickets
The CBT is held at an exam centre that the state maps with the exam agency. DGT's rule is that the centre should be less than 25 km from your institute, and not more than 50 km where that is not possible. The practical exam is usually held at your own ITI, and practical hall tickets are generated separately.
What to check on your hall ticket
Your name, father's name, photo, trade, roll number, exam centre, date and reporting time. If anything is wrong, tell your ITI the same day, because corrections go through the institute.
Exam day checklist
Copy the lines that are true for you, replace every [bracket] and delete the rest. Every number should be one you can repeat in a practical test.

Common questions
How do I get my ITI hall ticket?
It is generated on the Skill India Digital Hub after your ITI enters your attendance, formative assessment marks and fees. Ask your ITI for your copy and keep it printed.
Why is my ITI hall ticket not generated?
Usually because attendance is below 80%, formative assessment is below 60%, or the fees are not marked as paid. Check all three with your ITI.
Is there a separate hall ticket for the ITI practical exam?
Yes. DGT's guidelines refer to practical examination hall tickets, generated separately from the CBT one.
How far can the ITI CBT centre be?
DGT's rule is less than 25 km from your institute, and not more than 50 km when that is not possible.
