ITI Exam Fees 2026: CBT Fee and How It Is Paid
Your hall ticket for the ITI final exam is generated only when the exam fees are marked as paid. This page sets out what DGT says about the fee for the July 2026 All India Trade Test, who can pay it and how.

DGT's guidelines for the All India Trade Test of July 2026 set the computer based test (CBT) fee at ₹213 per trainee, paid online only. Payment gateway charges are added on top. No other mode of payment is accepted for private ITIs.
The practical exam fee is separate. DGT's guidelines ask ITIs to record both on the portal, but the practical fee amount is not printed in them, so ask your ITI for it.
Who pays, and where
The fee can be paid by your ITI or by you through your own login on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH). Your ITI may pay for the whole batch, so ask before paying yourself.
Government ITIs that cannot pay through the SIDH gateway may collect the fee and deposit it in bulk to NIMI's bank account, then upload the payment proof on SIDH for NIMI to approve. A private ITI paying directly into the NIMI account is not treated as a valid payment and the money is not refunded.
Dates for 2026
For the July 2026 exam, ITIs had to enter attendance, formative assessment marks and the CBT and practical fees on SIDH between 20 May and 18 June 2026. Each exam season has its own window, and your ITI's notice board or office will have the date.
Why the fee matters
Fees paid is one of three hall ticket conditions, with attendance of at least 80% and formative assessment of at least 60%. If the fee is not marked as paid on SIDH by the deadline, the hall ticket is not generated.
Before the fee deadline
Copy the lines that are true for you, replace every [bracket] and delete the rest. Every number should be one you can repeat in a practical test.

- Check that your attendance is at least 80% and formative assessment at least 60%
