Do I need 3D modelling to get a drafting job?
Not to start. Solid 2D drafting with correct projection and tolerancing is still hired widely, especially in machine building and job shops. 3D widens your options and typically the pay band, so add it honestly at whatever level you have reached and keep improving it.
How do I show drafting work when all of it was ITI coursework?
Describe the drawings themselves: the views you produced, whether you worked from a physical part or a sketch, the tolerancing and finish conventions applied, and the drawing standard followed. Coursework drawings are real drawings, and describing them precisely is far better than an empty experience section.
Should I send my drawings with the resume?
