- Lead every bullet with the decision your analysis changed, not the tool you opened. "Built a dashboard" is weak; "Built the dashboard that replaced a 12-hour manual report" is not.
- Put your tool stack in a dedicated Key Skills line. This is the block the ATS matches against the job description most directly.
- Name the scale you worked at — rows, users, revenue, number of teams served. Analysts are judged on whether they can handle real volume.
- Do not list every tool you have ever touched. A short list you can defend in an interview beats a long list you cannot.
- If you have a portfolio or GitHub with real notebooks, put the link in your contact line — for analyst roles it is read more often than for most jobs.
