Unlike much of IT services hiring, professional services screening genuinely reads your academic record — degree, CA or MBA status with attempt history where strong, and consistent performance across school and university. State the figures exactly and do not omit a row hoping it will not be noticed.
Give industry and size instead: "a listed manufacturing client with turnover around ₹400 crore". This shows scale while respecting confidentiality — and demonstrating that you understand the confidentiality norm is itself a signal in this industry.
Professional services interviews test whether you break a problem into parts before answering. Bullets that move from problem, to what you examined, to what you concluded read as that habit. Bullets that only describe activity do not.
Audit, tax, risk, consulting and technology are separate practices with separate hiring. A resume that does not declare which one you are applying to forces the reader to guess, and guessing usually means the wrong pile.

- State your qualification precisely, including attempt record if it is strong. Professional services hiring reads academics far more closely than IT services does.
- Never name a client you are bound to keep confidential. Give the industry, the listing status and the turnover band — it conveys scale and shows you understand the norm.
