Internship Certificate Format: Samples to Copy into Word
An internship certificate is issued by a company to confirm that a student completed an internship with it, in which role and for how long. Colleges ask for it for credits and projects, and employers ask for it when you apply for your first job. Below are three samples and what each part should say.

Certificate or completion letter?
Some colleges want an internship certificate, others a completion letter on letterhead addressed to the college. The content is the same; only the opening changes. Check your college’s format before asking the company.
Using it on your resume
Add the internship to your resume with the company, title, dates and one result. Keep the certificate ready as proof; first employers often ask for it during document checks.
